Some software is available through campus or the CSE department.
Windows OS and Some Microsoft Software
Microsoft Azure is a campus wide program which provides Microsoft software to faculty, staff and students.
- browse to https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching
- log in with your UCSD email address and AD password
Microsoft Office
There are a couple of different ways to get Microsoft Office:
-
Office 365: https://login.microsoftonline.com. Use your UCSD campus account to log in and can download the applications. This is currently the preferred method.
-
Individual Office license: these can be purchased through the campus Marketplace. However, these versions now require an occasional UCSD network check-in. Contact csehelp@ucsd.edu for more information.
Microsoft Software on OEC-Supported Machines
This is mostly department staff and a handful of faculty office machines. For these, campus has a MCCA (Microsoft) agreement, managed for us through OEC. Please contact http://support.eng.ucsd.edu for information.
