If you need to order something, you are generally encouraged to order through your (or your advisor's) faculty assistant. This often involves putting together a shopping cart or detailed list of exactly what you need so the assistant can place the order accurately.
If you need advice or consultation in order to design and spec just what you need, decide on components or configuration, or to tackle other thorny aspects of coming up with an order, feel free to contact CSEhelp before moving on to having a faculty assistant place and receive your order.
If there may be issues with receiving, particularly with large and unwieldy equipment, or equipment destined for the CSE building's Server Room, also feel free to contact CSEhelp.
A general note: most shipments have to go through campus Central Receiving before being delivered to the department. This will always add at least an extra day to orders, even rush orders.
