Student Organizations

Our students are building inclusive and equitable communities all across the computing landscape. Through independent student chapters of computing organizations, our students work to strengthen community through social events and professional-development activities. Computing-related student orgs involved in these efforts include:

Women In Computing (WIC) at UC San Diego

GradWIC (Grad Women In Computing)

K-12 Outreach

Students across CSE volunteer to teach introductory programming lessons at schools, libraries, and other locations across San Diego county, cultivating mentorship between UC San Diego and K-12 students.
