UC San Diego's Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) degree for engineering professionals focuses on emerging interdisciplinary fields critical to industry's competitive future. They are distinct and separate from the Master of Science.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers the following MAS degree programs in conjunction with our UCSD partners:
Architecture-Based Enterprise Systems (AESE): Managed in partnership with the Jacobs School of Engineering and the Rady School of Management.
Wireless Embedded Systems (WES): Managed in partnership with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Jacobs School of Engineering.
Data Science and Engineering, managed in partnership with the San Diego Supercomputer Center and the Jacobs School of Engineering.
