Eligibility for benefits is determined by an employee's appointment percentage and duration. The Human Resources Generalist will provide you with information on which benefits (if any) for which you are eligible. Newly hired staff must enroll for benefits during their Period of Initial Eligibility (PIEs), which lasts for 31 days beginning with their initial date of employment. Benefits enrollment must take place on-line through UCPath. Attending a campus benefits orientation is also recommended within your PIE.
