Undergraduate Symposium
About
The Jacobs School of Engineering Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) is a poster session event that was established to highlight the outstanding research done by hundreds of undergraduate students in the School of Engineering. It also serves as a culminating experience for the work of students in the Early Research Scholars Program (ERSP) and the Guided Engineering Apprenticeships in Research (GEAR) program, both of which provide year-long group-based first research experiences for engineering undergraduates. The Jacobs School URS is designed to complement other research events such as the Jacobs School Research Expo and the UC San Diego Undergraduate Research Conference by bringing together engineers at all levels (undergrads, grad students, faculty, and staff) to celebrate the work of our undergraduate researchers.
We invite all undergraduate Engineering students who have done research to participate by submitting their posters for presentation. We invite everyone to attend the poster session on May 31 to see the great research being done by engineering undergraduates.
