Introduction to computer architecture. Computer system design. Processor design. Control design. Memory systems.

Course Objectives: 

This course gives a comprehensive and self-contained view of computer architecture. The emphasis is on underlying design principles. The course is a departure point for research in computer engineering.

Prerequisites: 

CSE 140 and CSE 140L  CSE 141L should be taken concurrently.

Four sections per year, Fall, Winter, and Spring.
