The process of recruiting staff and student employees at UCSD differs significantly depending upon the type of employee you need, the duration of the appointment, and the percent-time the employee will work. As a full recruitment can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks (or more) to complete, we recommend that you consult with CSE's Human Resources Coordinator as soon as you have identified a need for an employee.
